Built in 1962, our mid-century modern building in Oregon, Ohio, served as People’s Savings Bank for three decades before beginning its next chapter. In 1995, Jodi and Lee purchased the former bank to pursue Jodi’s lifelong dream of opening her own salon. While raising a young family, Lee worked to transform the space from the ground up—removing teller stations, ATMs, and drive-through windows to build a sanctuary for style and care.

With the turning of the millennium inspiring a spirit of innovation, ‘Future Wave’ officially held its grand opening in August 1995 as an Aveda Concept Salon. For the last 30 years, we have been honored to serve the greater Toledo area, building a community of loyal clients and friends within these walls.

As we embark on our 31st year, we are celebrating with a fresh new look and an exciting transition. We are proud to welcome Dylon Eckman back to the team, taking on his new role as the Salon Owner. Dylon is dedicated to serving the family we have created here and making waves for the next generation to come.

While Jodi and Lee transition to this new chapter, they remain a vital part of our story. We are a family, after all. We owe a profound thank you to Jodi and Lee for the legacy they started, and to our community, we thank you for your unwavering support along the journey.
